1 1/2 cup Tomato

1/2 cup Onion

2 Tablespoons sereno chili

3 Tablespoons Lime juice

1/4 Cup Cilantro

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

2 Tablespoons sereno chili

3 Tablespoons Lime juice

1/4 Cup Cilantro

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

Mise en place (Preparation) Click here

  • Seed and chop Tomato small (1/4 inch)
  • Chop onion small (1/4 inch)
    Chop Jalapeño small (1/4 inch)
    Chop Cilantro fine
    Measure out Salt
    Measure out Pepper

Directions

Put all ingredients in a bowl and fold into itself gently until well mixed.

Customize

  • Additional Chile pepper for more heat and depth of flavor
    Substitute
  • Jalapeño for Serano will lower the heat.

Note: 

  • It will only keep in the fridge for a day or two max.
  • Commonly served with chips as an appetizer or starter.
