1/2 cup Onion
2 Tablespoons sereno chili
3 Tablespoons Lime juice
1/4 Cup Cilantro
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

Mise en place (Preparation) Click here
- Seed and chop Tomato small (1/4 inch)
- Chop onion small (1/4 inch)
Chop Jalapeño small (1/4 inch)
Chop Cilantro fine
Measure out Salt
Measure out Pepper
Directions
Put all ingredients in a bowl and fold into itself gently until well mixed.
Customize
- Additional Chile pepper for more heat and depth of flavor
Substitute - Jalapeño for Serano will lower the heat.
Note:
- It will only keep in the fridge for a day or two max.
- Commonly served with chips as an appetizer or starter.
