Ginger Paste

Garlic paste is simply ground ginger and a little oil. It retains all of the characteristics of the spice and fruitiness of ginger. It is strong, so a little goes a long way in a dish.

.42 oz Oil (Neutral flavored)

Peel and dice ginger

Measure out oil

Direction

Put ginger in a blender. Pulse the blender and scrape sides with a spatula between pulses.
Add oil to the blender and blend on high until all ingredients form a soft paste. Occasionally stop the blender and scape the sides with a spatula

The paste will keep in the fridge for up to a week.

The paste will freeze and keep for months.
